Sunday, February 18 at 6 PM – 8 PM
Join the Pember for an Owl Walk at the Pember Nature Preserve in Hebron located at the Porter Schoolhouse, about 6937 State Route 22. We are 8 miles south of Granville. We will present owl wings and talons with owl calls. Bring a flashlight and wear snowshoes or boots. For hike verification on day of event, call Bernie, Pember Educator at 518-692-3129. We will also post on FB that morning. Our rule of thumb: if the roads are bad and the snowplows are out, the hike is cancelled. If the temps are too cold (below 20 degrees), or if there is ice the hike will be cancelled.  We are pretty hardy but wind chills, extreme cold temperatures and ice are not good for anyone except the Owls!
